VII National Conference of Students' Scientific Clubs "Regional determinants of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises".
State Higher Vocational School for almost the whole of May celebrated its 20th anniversary. On this occasion, a number of scientific, cultural and sports events took place. The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, was the Honorary Patron of the jubilee.
Tarnow Industrial Cluster, as a part of the cooperation undertaken with the University, became the Honorary Patron of one of the events within the Jubilee - the 7th National Conference of Students' Scientific Clubs entitled "Regional determinants of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises", which took place on May 14, 2018. The organizers of the event were: the Administrative and Economic Institute, the Students' Scientific Club Manager and the Coordinator for academic entrepreneurship.
The aim of the Conference was to exchange experiences and spread knowledge and research results on the development of the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises. 11 works of students from Kraków, Kwidzyn, Krosno and Tarnów were submitted for the competition.
Tarnow Industrial Cluster has prepared a presentation entitled "Networking as an opportunity for development and support for business in Tarnow".
The competition commission decided to award the following prizes funded by Tarnow Industrial Cluster:
1st place, PLN 1500 - Justyna Barczyk (UR in Krakow) for a lecture "Non-agricultural economic activity of farmers - cannibalism or symbiosis?"
2nd place, PLN 1000 - Patryk Gajda (PWSZ in Tarnów) for a lecture "Are society and public institutions friendly to innovations and entrepreneurs?"
3rd place, PLN 500 - Joanna Szarek (UR in Krakow) for a lecture "Innovation level of Polish enterprises in 2004 -2016".
